What To Expect

During this very exclusive wine tour to Lombardy and Piedmont, you can expect to visit some of the most renowned wineries in the regions; Enrico Gatti, Bellavista, Poderi Colla, Einaudi, Marcarini and Conterno Fantino. At each winery, you'll have the opportunity to meet with the owners and winemakers, learn about the history and production process of each wine, and indulge in exclusive tastings of some five star vintages. From the rich and robust Barolos to the elegant and refined Barbarescos, you'll get to experience the full range of flavors and aromas that the Piedmont region has to offer.

To complement the wine tastings, we've also planned a range of culinary experiences that will allow you to indulge in the local cuisine. From lunch at a Trattoria with the Colla family to a cooking class or truffle hunting excursion, you'll get to experience the authentic flavours and traditions of the region. And in the evenings, we've arranged dinners at some of the best gourmet restaurants in the area, including a local winemaker's secret den and a gala dinner with Matteo Sardagna, the owner of Einaudi and 6 single vineyard cru Barolos.

Throughout the tour, we'll be staying at some of my favourite hotels and accommodations, including suites near Lake Iseo in Franciacorta, and a boutique hotel right in the heart of Monforte d'Alba. You can expect to be surrounded by stunning scenery, with opportunities to explore picturesque villages like Dogliani and La Morra and enjoy the beauty of the Italian countryside.

Overall, our wine tour to Piedmont promises to be an unforgettable journey, filled with world-class wines, exquisite cuisine, and unforgettable experiences.
