Phil and Genevieve proved to be exceptional hosts. Prior to the trip, they dedicated time to communicate with all participants, ensuring clarity on our travel details and arranging transportation. Their ongoing communication made it feel like we were reuniting with old friends upon finally meeting. The journey commenced with a bus ride from Milan to the enchanting Lake Como, where our accommodation, a charming hotel, graced the lakeside. Phil offered valuable recommendations, allowing us the freedom to explore at our own pace—whether it be shopping, wandering through local towns, or simply soaking in the scenic views. Phil curated a series of wine tastings, but the true highlight was the personal connection with the winemakers and hearing their narratives. This experience deepened my understanding of the region and the families dedicated to producing some of the finest wines I've ever encountered. Phil's unparalleled knowledge of the region and wines added an extra layer of richness to the journey. The culinary aspect was equally delightful, featuring an abundance of the region's traditional dishes. The opportunity to partake in a truffle hunt was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. In essence, the trip was a picturesque, educational journey that stimulated all the senses. I thoroughly relished my time on this tour and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

Sicily Tour

Recently completed a wine tour of Sicily with Phil and Genevieve. Highly recommend! In addition to tasting wonderful wines, Phil arranges the tour to include meeting and talking with producers, walking the vineyards, and great food pairings. Phil also incorporates visits to cultural sites, and other points of interest. A highlight for me included a tour/hike of the Mt Etna area with an expert volcanologist guide. Phil's engaging personality also helps establish quick camaraderie amongst the tour group. Add wonderful hotel accommodations and michelin-star restaurants, Phil has all bases covered.
